A Quick Tequila Reference Guide

Silver (Blanco) – Tequila as it comes from the still. Aged no longer than sixty days in metal tanks this is the purest flavor of the agave plant.

Reposado (Rested) – These tequilas must spend between 2 months and one year in oak barrels.

Anejo (Aged) – These tequilas must be aged in oak barrels for at least one year, this is where the herbal qualities of tequila meet the mellowing characteristics of wood.
